I apologize if I haven’t responded in a timely manner to all your mail, but rest assured the redhead and I have appreciated each and every communication. The good news: I’ve been writing. The bad news: It’s not a Carlotta novel.
I know, I know: I hate it when a reliable series author goes off the reservation and has the temerity to try something new. I’m as addicted to series novels as anyone. And I haven’t exactly abandoned Carlotta. I needed to get something else out of my system.
The new book is with my agent, awaiting judgment. I may flash the first chapter up on the site to see what you think as well.
